The coming concerts of TISALOM will take place in three locations, on the same day (6.9.2026, Sunday). To present the fruit of a week long masterclass, led by Almut Gatz and Talia Erdal.

The Tisalom Residency program promotes interaction between leading multidisciplinary artists of diverse languages and cultures. It takes place in and around the city of Würzburg, a beautiful city with a magnificent heritage of literature, music and religion. 

Every year, a call for applications is published, and six artists are chosen for the project. These young artists (aged 25 to 40) are granted a month-long residency to work on a project of their choice as well as a joint event. They write, compose music, paint and dance: tuning into the frequencies the lower Franconian waters and spirits carry. 

In 2024, the theme was displacement. 

In 2026 our theme forgiveness. 

We believe in exchange, real-life interactions and art as a path of healing, peace and sustainable relationships. The works produced by the artists are a new language at a time in which many have lost their voices.
